Decentralisation Policy:
End all funding to capital cities by State and Federal governments. Existing cities to fund themselves.

All funds to be directed to more efficient shires especially those with less than 5,000 residents. Mayors of these areas know how to use money and it’s not on ‘tunnels, piazzas and show bridges’.

No city to have more than 100,000 residents. Towns to be focused on 5-10,000 citizens at most. All cities to be minimum 100 km apart, joined by high-speed rail, freeways and airlinks. Form a Chain of Civilization from the Great Dividing Range to the Kimberleys.

Each town/city to have its own power supply, water supply and to generate its own jobs. Self-sufficiency the goal.

Reverse the Building Better Cities Federal initiative whereby medium and high density residential dwelling areas are encouraged.

POLICIES FOR THE 2014 Queensland State Elections @6.6.14

2.EDUCATION REFORM: 

A. Restore the Year Ten Junior Certificate. All agree Australia has a skills shortage. This began in 1989 when the Junior Certificate issued after completion of Year Ten was abolished. This forced all to continue to Year 12. It was part of a failed plan to make us a Clever Country (sic) by forcing increasing numbers into dumbed-down Universities. 

That has succeeded. Australian universities are now simply degree factories where little if any real learning or research is done. The uptake from school to university was only 5 % in 1975. 

It now approaches 40% yet the skills shortage yawns. Not so clever. Oddly this abyss was created by what claims to be the ‘workers party’ yet is in fact a clique of coffee house cretins masquerading as intellectuals. We will admit the error, something these prideful atheists are incapable of doing, and amend it. 

B.Streaming will be re-introduced. After six years of elementary education where students are taught the ‘basics’ not politically correct waffle or perversions as now (I speak as the father of a 17, 15 & 13 year old victims of the current milieu) a student will be assessed as ‘academic’ or ‘commercial’. 

C.FURTHER EDUCATION: The few intellectuals needed will be up-skilled to attend advanced TAFE’s. Universities as such will cease to exist*. The vast majority will be receive two year pre-vocation training in school for trades both manual & otherwise. Local TAFE’s will be an extension of schools, beginning after Year 8. 

Courses will be written in conjunction with trade bodies from banks to Master builders Associations. The skills taught will be taught by those currently practicing in the field. No more divorced between theory & praxis. 

D. PRE-SCHOOL: The ill-advised Preps Year will be abolished. Children need their mothers not the State to rear them. Formal Schooling will not begin till age seven. Attendance at Kindy will be defunded & discouraged. Qld needs independent entities as citizens not mass-produced sausages. Individuality cannot be taught in class rooms but only one-on-one from one’s parents.

Media Release 29 April 2013: 

NSF Candidate for the North Brisbane seat of Dickson Steve G. Purtill has rejected Federal ALP Health Minister Tanya Pibelsek’s recommendations regarding making the abortion drug RU486 more easily and cheaply available by adding it to the Pharmaceutical Benefits List. 

He said: ‘this morally repugnant and ethically challenged decision matches many other such decisions by this government’. 

Mr Purtill has called abortion ‘the dark stain across the Western world that can only be expunged by an equal effusion of blood’ quoting the Book of Genesis Chapter 4 verses 10-11. 

Steve says NSF aim to hold the ‘balance of power’ in the new Parliament after 14 September 2013.

Media Release 26 April 2013: 

NSF Candidate for the North Brisbane seat of Dickson Steve G. Purtill has called for candidates to come forward in the other 126 Federal seats, Steve says: ‘there are now 7,000 cashed-up ex-Queensland Public Servants, each very angry at both ALP for putting them in the Red and the LNP for their perceived ill-treatment. 

A similar number now exists in New South Wales and Victoria. We ask these people to see this as a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to change the political landscape. A new body is needed so their rage is not ‘bled off’ into some dead-end as has happened in 1995 and 1998. 

Nothing ever changes in Australian politics because the two blocs are highly skilled at misleading the masses. NSF only ask for the chance to END all that’.

Stephen G. Purtill is standing as a candidate for the Federal seat of Dickson. A soon-to-be-sacked Queensland Health worker, Steve says the threat of retrenchment hanging over all 85,000 Queensland Government employees has ‘destroyed moral, halted progress on many projects and eroded confidence between workers & bosses, workers and the public’. 

“This cost cutting is necessary due to the fiscal irresponsibility of the previous, morally repugnant and ethically unsound, ALP junta. We all understand that. But to warn people in March 2012 that they may be sacked at any time without notice. Then keep them waiting for 12 months, while every other day people disappear, it’s like living in Stalin’s Russia. It has resulted in paralysed policy and frozen inaction on all fronts’. 

Steve says “’it’s no wonder the economy in the SE Corner has shrunk since Campbell Newman was elected. Imagine you want to sack 14,000, as CN announced as soon as he was elected. Then you don’t clarify who in particular it is you are going to sack. So all 85,000 Queensland Government employees have stopped spending. They are saving their pay, no one is purchasing, no one is holidaying, that’s 85,000 salaried staff deferring buying ANTYHING non-essential for the past 12 months. And this guy claims to be pro-business!’

Stephen G. Purtill, NSF candidate for the North Brisbane seat of Dickson, says the NSF will not preference either major political bloc. “Instead we will advise voters to ‘put the blocs last’ beginning with the sitting member in every seat”. 

He said: ‘We want the votes of those enraged by both sides. Whether the irrational and infantile policies of the Green/ALP bloc or the economic rationalist cruelty of the LNP, as seen clearly in CN’s monstrous brutality towards his own Public Service. The psychological damage to 100.000’s i.e. the 85,000 plus their extended families – is unprecedented in Queensland history. Add to this the aftermath of uninsured peoples in the wake of the 2011 and 2013 floods. The economy was already ‘shot’. CN put the final dagger through its heart’. 

NSF believe up to 25% of voters are refusing to support either major bloc, Green/ALP or the LNP. It’s not enough for us to win but we to ‘cost’ both the Coalitions, of Left and Right’. ‘

NSF 'Independence For North Australia' MR

'INDEPENDENCE FOR NORTH AUSTRALIA'

Solday 24 Mars 2013: 

Stephen G. Purtill is National Salvation Front candidate for the Federal seat of Dickson [Moreton Bay Region – based on Strathpine on Brisbane’s Northern fringe] standing against sitting Liberal MP Peter Dutton. 

Steve, a father of three, says the past week’s attics by Canberra’s ruling caste had spurred a boost in support for NSF. 

NSF seeks an independent Northern Australia running from Queensland’s Southern boundary [29’ parallel] across to the Indian Ocean in Western Australia. Support comes from those wishing a greater share of the resources found in the North by those living in the North. 

NSF believe the ‘current electoralist bias’ resulting from the ‘deliberate population imbalance’ with what they call ‘the Southern slums’ means they will never gain what is rightfully theirs.  

Steve says: “Many ordinary North Australians approach us, wringing their hands in exasperation. They say ‘with all the serious economic and social issues facing our people do this mob in the Federation capital have nothing better to do than play musical chairs?’
